The factory proprietors of Switzerland are endeavoring to introduce the Saturday half-holiday. The mem acoept thd proposal without enthusiasm, but the women strongly resent it, saying that the men would spend too much money on Saturday afternoons and nothing would/ be left for the family excursion on the Sunday.
