If the wireless system proved efficient and a benefit to the public the Pacific Cable Company would certainly make an arrangement with the Poiilseri Company to carry its messages to Australia. Whatever reduction in rates could be obtained would be passed on to the -public. At the 9ame time he looked upon wireless communication across the Atlantic as in a somewfhat nebulous state.
