CROSS AND CRESCENT.
Received April 26, 9.35 a.m. ATHENS, April 25. The population of Corytza elected six Christians and four Moslems as a deputation to proceed to Europe to protest at being severed from Greece and annexed to Albania.
POWERS AND MONTENEGRO.
BELGRADE, April 25. The newspaper 'Samouprava' hopes that the Powers will change tlfeir attitude towards Montenegro and revoke their previous decision.
DEFENDER OF SCUTARI.
Received April 20. 12.10 p.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, April 25. Essad Pasha (who was in command of the Turkish forces at Scutari) and the garrison are proceeding to Arana.
PEACE PRELIMINARIES.
Received April 26, 12.10 p.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, April 25. The Powers have invited the Porte and the Allies to appoint delegates to discuss peace preliminaries and select a plac® for the conference.
