At a meeting of the Federal Commrktee which is arranging the details of the visit of the British Association for the Advancement of Science it was stated that New Zealand had granted £2OOO for the passages of 25 representatives with a view to enabling them to extend their tour to New Zealand. A resolution was, passed to the effect that the British Association be invited to nominate 25 members to go after the Sydney meeting, on the understanding that New Zealand pays £3O towards the expenses of each and that the members fulfil scientific duties in New .Zealand.
