Thousands of schoolchildren struck because a jury acquitted an unpopular t teacher against whom charges had been > preferred. The police reserves were called out to preserve order in consequnce of the children's parades interfering with the traffic. One lad was run over by a street car and killed. A number of children were arrested on a. charge of disorderly conduct.
