A faked bomb labelled "Votes for Women!" which was found in a Cardiff picture palace caused much alarm. IF THE LAW ALLOWED! Received April 24, 9.40 a.m. LONDON, April 23. As a sequel to the outrage hy Suffragettes who entered the Manchester Art Gallery and smashed the glass of 13 pictures, G. F. Watts' "Evening Prayer" being damaged by a hammer, a woman named Lillian For,rester was sentenced to three months-' imprisonment and if unable to find sureties to keep the peace was ordered a further six and four months' respectively.
