UNWRITTEN LAW PLEA. I A dramatic appeal to the "unwritten | law" has been made by Professor Oscar Olsen, of the University of Minnesota. Professor 01- j sen fired twice and the man fell dead ; on the threshold. J The professor then invited a neighbor j to view the body, at which 'he pointed, saying, "I've shot that fellow. He's > dead." At the police station Professor Olsen declared, "My defence will bethej r 'unwritten law.' Darling ruined my 1 home. 1 don't blame my wife. It j wasn't her fault." He was led to a cell sobbing bitterly.
