EASTER HOLIDAYS.
POST OFFICE ARRANGEMENTS
The following hours will be observed at the post office at Easter • Thursday, March 20.—A1l mails will be closed at 8 p.m. Friday, March 21.—Tho post office will observe a close holiday. The telegraph office will be open from 5 p.m. to 0.30 p.m., and the telephone exchange will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, March 24.—A1l mails will close at 8 a.m. The post office will bo open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for delivery of letters, etc., only. All telegraph offices will be open ( from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the Gore office from 9 a.m to i p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Th<telephone exchange will be open as usual. There will be no delivery by letter-carriers. The mail for Australian colonies will close a day earlier—viz., Wednesdav. March 19, at 7 a.m. R. CAPSTTCK, Acting-Postmaster.
