Inspector Wadesworth, of the Public Health Department, reporting on the Queensborough Cemetery, said he had examined the rubbish heaps and remains of fires in different parts and found the remains of a child's coffin partly consumed by fire, also two bones. He found another small coffin in another heap. The gravedigger informed him that the coffins were removed by the chairman's instructions four months ago in order to put another body in. Another heap disclosed a large number of broken coffins.
