Loring, of New York, scattered flowers in the ocean near the spot where her husband was drowned in the Titanic. Hundreds of passengers watched the ceremony. Mrs Loring specially journeyed across the Atlantic to pay a tribute to her husband's memory. The Carmania sighted eight enormous bergs further south than tliev have ever been seen before.
