A sub-committee of the National Health and Insurance Committee recommends that the better paid outworkers be treated similarly to inworkers under the Insurance Act, while it should be permissible for the poorer paid out-workers to determine their contribution according to the work done. Soon the leading industrial insurance institutions, including the Refuge, Pearl, Britannic, London and Manchester Insurance Companies, will bo amalgamated into an approved society to work the Insurance Act.
