ELECTRIC WALKING-STICK.
i ( In appearance this is a, gentleman's' ordinary walking-stick, but on lifting: the silver-plated ferrule near the handle an incandescent metal filament lamp is exposed, giving a brilliant white light. A neat dry battery is fitted inside the stick just below the ferrule, and this is said to last a considerable time when the stick is used as intended, for inter-i i.vittent flashing purposes. Of course, refills can be obtained when the battery is exhausted.
