Terepa is an estate of 5563 acres acquired by the late Otago School Commissioners, now offered for occupation in 21 years' leases with perpetual right of renewal at a revaluation at the end of the term. The block comprises white and silver tussock-covered downs, with good rich swamp land and areas of peat-swamp land. There is ample fall for drainage and the block can be easily drained. The main drains have been opened and many of the side drains put in. A considerable area has been sown in English grasses. On all the sections there is grass and tussock feed that would enable stock to be put on without delay. On two of the sections the land has been broken up and cultivated. The soil generally is good except the peat swamp, which has been valued very low. The block is capable of great improvement and development.
