The newspaper 'Reichspost- suggests that Italy should offer Turkey the bulk, of her East African possessions in exchange for Tripoli and Cyrenaiea, and so enable Turkey to conclude an honorable peace.
ITALIANS HEAVILY DEFEATED. AND CHASED INTO TOWN. TUNIS, Jan. 25. Advices from Tripoli slate that three battalions of Italian infantry and a small body of cavalry were heavily defeated in endeavoring to capture Sensur, westward of Tripoli, Aiabs pursuing them to the outskirts of Tripoli and expelling them from trenches, wherein 60 Indian corpses were subsequently foil 11:!.
