Ws.uklyn (secretary of the Christclrach Jockey Club and Racing Conference), Police-Inspector Kiely, Hon. C. I o'iisson (President of the Metro niuan Trotting Club), Mr J. B. tary of the Trotting Association) and Mr A. Boyle (chairman of the Christchurch Jockey Club). All these gentlemont supported the totalisator as against bookmakers. The Commission in the afternoon inspected the racecourses at Rioeaton and Addington and will sit again tomorrow and will leave on Friday for Dunedin.
