Wade (Leader of the Opposition) addressing a Liberal conference said he had no fear of the general election. The Liberals' prospects were brighter than they were a year ago. He condemned the Government taxation proposals. The country had embarked on an era of unprecedented extravagance and so long as the present Government was in power it was a danger and a menace to the prosperity of the State.
