Addressing the Delegations Dr. Kraemer referred to the dangers of Austria's close relations with Germany whereby Austria might be drawn into a world's conflict with which she was not concerned. They had to thank England's intervention for producing a, settlement of the Moroccan crisis. AUSTRIA WANTS 30,000 MEN. Received December 30, 8.5 a.m. VIENNA, Dec. 29. Austria-Hungary adheres to the Franco-German treaty. Count von Aerenthal (Premier) in a speech to the delegations stated that an increase of 30,000 Army .effectives was required for the protection of AustriaHungary for safety and to enable them to co-operate with their allies in the interests of general peace.
