Five hundred practitioners at Glasgow by an overwhelming majority resolved not to work under the Insurance Bill unless the regulation conceded the British Medical Association's six cardinal points. Sir James Barr (president-elect of the Association) telegraphed wishing the movement every success, adding: "The Insurance Act must not be allowed to disgrace the Statute-Book."
