Following is Rev. D. C. Bates' weather forecast:—Present indications are for moderate to strong northerly and easterly winds and a falling barometer everywhere;" but a rise will probably take place after about 16 hours, when the wind will change to the southward and freshen everywhere, with colder weather in the meantime. Expect cloudy misty and unsettled weather with heavy rain and rivers rising in many parts of the country.
