Rain set in before the first race started. After the running of the second race the course was in such a condition that the owners of pacers notified the club that they would be. .unable to start horses, and the stewards decided to postpone the remainder of the events until Saturday. Results:— Maiden Handicap (harness), one mile. —Ghoam, Bsec, 1; Moorish Chief, 12 sec, 2; Flywheel, 9sec, 3. Ghoam took charge crossing the top, winning easily by three lengths. Time, 2min 40 3-osec. Epsom Trot Handicap, two miles and a-qnarter—Tableau, 3wc, 1 ; Miss Salisbury, losec, 2; Airant, 4scc, 3. Crossing the top Tableau got in the lead and was never after troubled, winning by a length. Time, 6min 0 4-ssec.
