+ I»EK njJITKn PffKSS ASPOCIATIOIt PALMERSTON N., Dec. 18. At the Magistrate's Court to-day William Tie, a Chinese laundryman, was fined £2o and costs on a charge of having in his possession opium in a form suitable for smoking. He had been seven times previously convicted on similar charges.
