Following is Rev. D. C. Bates' weather forecast: —Present indications are form warm, hazy and unsettled weather; threatening electrical disturbances generally; variable winds, moderate to strong westerlies prevailing northward of East Cape, Taupo and New Plymouth, and southerly and south-easterly winds elsewhere. The barometer is very unsteady and the conditions about East' Cape are somewhat threatening for the East Coast and -North Island. The present state of affairs is critical and changeable.
