ENTERTAINMENTS.

PATHE PICTURES

There was a good attendance at the Dominion Hall last evening when the Pathe Picture Company under the direction of Mr A. W. McLean submitted an entertaining programme. The star film undoubtedly was "Niagara," in which a fine and conprehensive view of the great falls with the millions of tons of ceaselessly falling water was obtained. "The Subduing of Mrs Nag" was a story of the- humorous order and ■dealt with the cimimventing of a nagging wife by her husband's pretty office girl. "Two Kids on the Spree" gave opportunity for some remarkably fine views of Brussels with its beautiful buildings and statuary and "Rose of Kentucky" was a pretty love story of the American tobacco country. Through some misapprehension the advertised' film dealing with the Melbourne Cup of 1911 did not come to hand. The management announces that a particularly good l selection of films has been secured for next week's exhibition.
