Bates' wea--flier forecast:—Present indications are ofcQl for a falling barometer, but a rapid : rise will probably take place shortly, with a decided change in the weather, especially on the Eaßt Coast of both Islands, wfiere strong .southerly and •oath-easterly winds are to be expected hi the meantime. Moderate and variable winds, with hazy weather generally, bat misty and showery conditions continuing in the'southernmost districts.
