Messrs (Joldsmith Bros, -applied for a lease over an area between Sections 10, 11 and 12. Block VII., 'Wendonside District, and the Waikaia Biver, and desired the right to cultivate. Banger Martin recommended the granting of the application at 10s per annum. The applicant was granted the right to cultivate; all gorse to hi' cleared within six mouths.
