* At the conclusion oi church wrvi«* on Sunday last l\cv. S. Gaston distributed the prizes gained by the scholars attending the Kaiwera Sunday School. Mr Gaston said he had examined the children and they had parsed a most creditable examination, which reflected ureal credit on their teachers (Miss Clement* and .Mr I'ullar). The following is the prize-list:— Seniors.—First prize, Nellie Hubert - son; first class, prize, Mary Robertson. Junior class—Annie Robertson (Mr Gaston said he was highly pleased wjth this child's answers; first prize. Ivy Millar; second in order (also first prise), Andrew Clement and John Robertson; first class prize, James Brown. Junior division.—First class prw, Alexander Brown.
