An .accident occurred on Sunday afternoon whereby ■, Mr J. M. Barron had two ribs..broken, sustaining as well lacerations to the face and severe bruises. Mr Barron went into a loosebox to :attend a .young horse when something startled the animal, which lashed out.at Mr Barron, kicking him with one hoof on the -right cheek and ear and with the other on the right side, 'breaking two -srrbs. Mr Barron was rendered unconscious, and a lad named 'Gilmore who was in the stable at *he time rushed to Mr Barron's assistance and "let the horse out of the box.
