HOCKEY.

REAMOANA v. WYNDHAM. In the hockey match Reamoana v. Wyndham, reported briefly elsewhere, which was played on the school ground at Wyndham yesterday and resulted in a win for the home team by four goals to one, Miss M. Marsh captained the Wyndham team and Miss M. Willis (deputy-captain) the Reamoana team. The goals for the winning team were (•cored by Misses M. Marsh (1), J. Marsh (2) and S. Martin (1). The victory was due to the better passing of the winners, their opponents playing well individuality but lacking combination. Mr L. McCartney, of Invercargillj controlled the game and gave entire satisfaction. The Wyndham ladies provided excellent afternoon tea.
