Accused reserved his -lefeneo and was committed for trial. GI.SIIOUXE SUPREME COURT. GISBORNE, March 16. At tho Supremo Court to-day Joseph Norcroft was sentenced to one month'* imprisonment for failing to keep proper books. The sentence was lenient on account of ill-health. Patrick John Hofcn received six months' on' a charge of fraud in respect to certain chattels under a bill of sale. William John Knight pleaded guilty to i charge of shoep-stealiug and was remanded for sentence.
