Tliu marriage of Miss Euphcmia T'liompson, the only daughter of the late Captain \Y. Thompson, of Port Molyueux, to .Mr Thomas Burgess, of Mat'aura, took place at Port on Wednesday last. The bride', who was given away by her brother, looked charming in a cream voile dress with silver trimmings, white veil, and wreath of orange blossoms, the Rev. A. 11. Dalrymple being the officiating clergyman. The bride was attended by Miss Steuning as bridesmaid. Mr V. Thompson performed the duties of groomsman. After the usual congratulations to the newly-married couple, the guests partook of a substantial breakfast, after which the young can pie drove to Romaliapa, and took their departure for the south, where the honeymoon will be spent.
