NEW GERMAN WAR ENGINE.
It is stated that Germany has acquired the patents of the Heilbron engineer .Schleier for an armored automobile which will carry machine guns, move at a tremendous speed, and be invulnerable against shells from ordinary field guns. Such an engine of war is under construction and will be used at this year's grand manoeuvres. The chief feature of the armored car beside its strength is its low build, which will protect it from observation. The ercw are completely protected, and light, the gtlils while lying down, and thv steering is done from inside. An electric projector completes the equipment. A military writer says that each car when armed will cost £'22,(100.
