BLENHEIM. I'Ell UNITED I'EESa ASSOCIATION. BLENHEIM, April 2t>. The election for the Blenheim mayoralty resulted as follows:—Archibald McCallum (retiring Mayor), 102; John Conollv, 322. Of the six old councillors who offered themselves for re-election only three wcro returned. K.UMARA. HOKTTIKA, April 20. Mr J. A. Murdoch was re-elected Mayor of Kumara yesterday by a ma jority of 16 over his opponent, Mr T. lvenJdy. INVERCARGILL COUNCILS. | The new Invercargill Borough Council is as follows:—\V. A. Ott. L. G. MeG. Watson, T. Fleming, John Stead, W. H. Royds, J. F. Lulicrnp, R. Dunlop, T. I). Lennie, D. McFarlano, 11. Cialbraith, J. T. Carswell, D. Roche. ! The new North Invercargill Council comprises the following:—Mayor, Mr B. A. Ekensteen; and Councillors T. Knuekey, Wm. Fraser, Chas. Blomfield (Central AVard), C. Guun, T. Foam, T. H. Martin (South AVard), B. D.,Ferrar, Wm. Bluo and D. O'C'allaghan (North Ward). For South Invercargill the following were elected -.—Messrs T. C. Gillies, D. Mel'fin. R. Anderson (South Ward), J. Lyons, J. Mitchell, J. G. McFadgen (Central AVard), S. McMillan. H. J. Kirby, and A. A. Crisp (North Ward). NELSON. NELSON, April L"J. Of the soven old councillors offering for re-election all were returned. One of the two new councillors was formerly For Rivcrton Mr J. 11. Mills was returned as Mayor by a majority of 35 votes over Dr Trotter.
