NOTABLE PIONEER'S DEATH.
* I'EU I -MiKl' riiKSS ASSOCIATION. THAMES. April 29. The death is announced of Mr Robert Stone, a very old resident of the Thames. He is said to be the first man in New Zealand to build a steamer and he took tho first steamer out of Auckland Harbor.
