PARIS POSTAL STRIKE.

The French Chamber of Deputies supports tho Government in the measures taken for suppressing the postal strike. M. Barthou (Minister for Public Works) has announced that he gives the strikers 24 hours in which to decide, at the end of which period if they have not returned to work the whole 8000 will be dismissed. No despatches have reached King Edward, who is visiting Biarritz, since Tuesday. A courier service, has now been organised between Paris and Brussels by which His Majesty is enabled to keep in touch with officials throughout the world. Tho soldiers are now repairing the 150 provincial wires cut by the strikers
in the neighborhood of Paris.
