Several cases oi New Zealand poultry prepared av the Government depot here tor display at Shepherd's Bush Exhibition were sent to the freezing works today in readiness ior shipping to London. The birds are all young, ranging from three to five months, and are fine examples of what New Zealand can produce in the way of high-class poultry. Tho weights of the different lots are :—Twelve black Orpingtons. 60lb : twelve white Wyandottes. 591b; twelve Plymouth Rocks. 531b; six Hourlans (very young). 221b; twelve Leghorn 'spring chickens, 2011); six goslings. •31 lb ; twelve ducklings, 591b. The ducklings and gusling.. were procured from Hurley's poultry farm at Sproydon and the remainder are a consignment from the Government poultry faint nt Buru- | ham.
