T. Glasgow when ho retires on superannuation. It is regarded as most probable that Mr Carter will continue in office as secretary until he retires a few years bene*. Mr D. H. L. Corrigau, who has been transferred from the Lawrence branch of the Bank of New Zealand to Gore, was on Wednesday last prevented by friends at Lawrence with a gold matchbox and sovereign-case.
