WEST'S PICTURES.
* To-morrow evening the interesting entertainment known as West's Pictures will begin a two nights' season, and it is announced that the programmes to be presented will fully sustain tlu; reputation of Mr West as an entertainer. The star subject will be one of the [anions art studies entitled "L/ady Letinere's Jewels," which is described as a drama oi' intense human interest. The interest is centred on the magnihcent acting by some of the world s bestknown artists, and when Sarah liernliardt's name is coupled with the production one can imagine to what a high .standard cinematograph pictures have reached when the producers can engage such artists to pourtray the different characters in their picture dramas. A number of scenic and travel studies are lincluded as it has been found from long experience that the public appreciate views of other countries and the customs and Airliners of the inhabitants of far-oil' towns and places. Comic relliefs will be supplied in full mensure, and the whole entertainment, especially the musical numbers by the Ue Green's .Vice-regal Orchestra, should bo the cause of a packed house to-morrow night. Mataura will be vhl.ted on Friday and Saturday.
