Si'ORTS AT Dl-NEDIN. DUNFJMN, March W. The Uunodin Sports Club meeting took place on the Caledonian Ground to-day in dull weather. There was a fair attendance, attracted in the main by the presence of Arnst, onetime cycling champion, now the world's sculling champion, and Trembatli, the ex-amateur Australasian champion. Arnst competed in the mile aud Otago Wheel Race, but failed to gain a place, being obvijus-iy out of condition for cycling. The Sheffield Handicap, 135 yards, was won by White (12 yards') iu Utsec, with Sanson (3J yards) second, and Treinbalh (3 J yards) third. The Otago Wheel Race went to Uelcher, who had the limit of 350 yard?, in smin 3see; Cusack, 05 yards, was second; and Dennis, 105 yards, third. Arnst just failed to qualify, in tea heat. Chalmers, 8 yards, .won the 22a yards flat handicap iu 23sec. T'rembath and Sanson failed lo get up. Foster, oil 10 yards, won the hall-mile amateur event iu Ihniii 8 l-ssec. Trembath was lookod on to win the lialf-mfile cash handicap, but he failed to make any impression on the, limit men. Altogether it was not a great meeting.
