Mr Arnold-Forster was a grandson of l)r Arnold, tho famous headmaster ol Rugbv. and was earlv adopted by his uncle: Mr \Y. E. Forster, M.P. Hewas formerly Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty and the author ot numerous books, mainly on questions dealing with army reform.
