The New Zealand Cup meeting was continued to-day at Riccarton, in bcuutliful weather, and with a public holiday the attendance was again very good, among those present being Lord |l'Hmket and suite. The racing ;was | extremely interesting throughout, and the win of Sir George Clifford's colt in the Derby was very popular. The totalisator investments amounted to £22,134, as against £21,739 last year, in addition to which there were seventeen bookmakers < licensed inside and thirty-fivo outside.
