THE NO-LICENSE FIGHT.

* POSITION AT CHRISTCHURCH. PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 10. A crowded meeting was held in tho Salvation Army Barracks last night. The Rev. John MccKuzie, St. Andrew's Church, presided, and took occasion to explain that six years ago Mr AA'illiam Thomson became dissociated from the Presbyterian Church, and was no longer a minister of that body. The Rev. AllReady replied to Mr Thomson's arguments at great length, and a report of tho meeting, extending over four columns, is advertised in this morning's paper, thus following the tactics of tlio liquor party.
