IXVEBCABGILL STOCK MARKET. The Invercargill Stock Agents report only a medium entry of fat cattle, the sale for which dragged considerably for the first few pens, and prices opened at about 10s less than last sale. They, however, recovered when some extra" prime bullocks were on offer, and during the middle of the sale, if anything, exceeded last fortnight's values, declining again towards the end. Prime beef was in strong demand, heavy bullocks' bringing from £ll 7s Gd to £l2. Medium was in slack demand, and inferior was unsaleable. Owing to a short supply, fat sheep advanced in value by about 2s, although, taken all round, the quality was not so good. Store cattle and store sheep were poorly represented ,and did not sell at values equal to those ruling at country yards. Fat Cattle.—lo2 yarded.
