ADDINGTUN MARKETS. Fat oattle.—ll4 head yarded. Batchers being well supplied, the demand wir poor at prices equivalent, to thosp of the previous week. Steers £0 7a 6d to £lO, h?ners £6 to £B, cows £5 17s (id to £9. Beef 20s to 25s par 1001b. Ten dairy cattle brought £5 12s (id to £9 17s 6d. Fat sheep.—The entry was very much smaller than usual, snd recent rates were fully maintained. Wethers 163 5d to 19s lOd, best ewes 15s 6d to 17s lid, others 13s to 15s. Store sheep.—966 yarded. There was little demand and four-tooth wethers brought 15s 9d, four and six-tooth ewes 15s 8), four-tooth wethers 15s 6d, ewes and lambs 7s 6d. Pigs.—A better sale. Bacouers 42s to 53a, equal to 4Jd per lb, porkers 80s to 39s—4£ to sd, large stores 24a to 303, medium lfn to 235, weaners 12s 6d. DUNEDIN PRODUCE MARKET. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report that there was a good attendance of buyers at their auction sale on Monday, when there was fair competition:— Oats.—There is fair enquiry for gocd sound oats, lower grades being difficult to quit. We quote : Prime milling Is 4£d to Is sd, good to best feed Is 3d to Is 4d, iuferior to medium 9d to Is 2d per bushel (sacks exira). Wheat.—The demand is only for small and choice lines. Prime milling 3s 3d to 3s fiJ, medium to good 2s 8d to 3s, be<t whole fowl wheat 2s 4d to 2s 6d, medium broken and damaged Is 9d to 2s 31 per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes.—The demand for old Donvents is now past and best meet with slow sale at 30s to 35s per ton (sacks in). Chaff.—Best oaten sheaf £2 17s (id to £3 2s 6d, choice to £3 ss, medium to mooU 21s to £2 15p, inferior £1 iOs to £1 17s 6d per ton.
