A NEW LIFE, ACCIDENT ft INVALIDITY POLICY.
The prospectus of a n#w policy in being issued by the Australian Widows' Fund Society (Limited), and a copy has bi#n sent to us. The new policy ia very generoui in its scope and covers ordinary life assurance, accident and invalidity. The forms of ordinary life assurance and of accident insurance are well-known, and the sickness assurance has bad some vogue, but the worry or inconvenience of having three separata policies has perhaps prevented many people taking edvantage of the several forms of assurance. The Australian Widows' Fund Society by its new policy simplifies the whole matter. One policy covers the three kinds of assurance, and the provisions are very generou*. For instance, under this new policy if death occurs within 1)0 days as tbe result of an acoident it doubles tbe sum assured, and in the event of prrmanpnt total disablement, if such tnk< s within 90 days of the accident, it Bccurcd an amount equal to ordinary sum assured. It provides compensation when the assured is incapacitated by accidental bodily injury or by any of the diseases specified. It may be stated that it i< optional whether the policy is whole life with accident and invalidity included, or endowment assurance with accident and invalidity added. I'ider both forms the assurant participates in the prolits. The premium tables attached to Ihi prospectus show that tbe cost of the new policy is ju«t a trifle more than for the single whole life policy, and the younper the life tbe moie advantageous the payrmnts. The new policy is bound to lind favor with all the provident people in whatever walk of life. Tbe advantages of tbe policy are set forth in an advertisement appearing in this issue. Wise and Co., Mersey Street, (i ire, are tbe local agents.—(Advt.).
