Thursday, February 7. (Before Mr Geo. Cruickshank, S.M.) The following cases were decided after we went to press:— Thorn and Son (Mr Inder) v. B. Sloan (Mr Neave).—Claim £39 10s 7d for alleged shortage of goods entrusted to defendant at plaintills branch establishment at Mataura.—The following witnesses were called for plaintiffs : Miss Thorn. Mrs Harper, S. Thorn, H. G. Horn, and F. Thorn.—Defendant gave evidence on his own behalf, and after argument plaintiffs were nonsuited without costs. T. Tilson (Mr Inder) v. P. Amos (Mr Bowler).—Claim of £44 7s.—This case had been before the Court on a previous occasion, when plaintiff elected to take a nonsuit to enable him to bring further evidence, which he now did.—Judgment was given for plaintiff for £5 7s l?d and £1 His 2d costs. The Court then rose.
