DUNEDIN PRODUCE MABKET.

Messrs Dalgktt and Co., Dunedin, report having held their usual weekly auction sale on Monday. There was a good attendance of buyers, and prices ruled as under : Oats. —Since our last report the maiket has hardened considerably, prime milling Bnd sound feed lines having a good enquiry, while other grades are saleable at prices a shade above late rates. We quote: Prime milling 2s 7d to 2s 7Jd, good to beßt feed 2s 5Jd to 2s 6Jd, inferior to medium 2s to 2s 4d (bags extra). Wheat.—More sales are now taking pl»oe, and all prime samples meet a fair demand. Medium quality is not asked for, and is only quitted as fowl feed, which is fairly plentiful and is difficult of sale at quotations, which are:—Prime velvet and Tuscan 4s to 4s 3d, Medium 3s 6d to 3s lOd, fowl feed (whole) 3s 2d to 3s 3d, do (broken) 2s 6d to 3s (bags extra). Potatoes.—At to-day's sale there was a very spirited demand, and as offerings were not heavy prices rose about 103 a ton. We quote : Prime Derwents £4 10s to £4 15s, medium £3 15s to £4 ss, kidneys £3 to £3 10s (bags in). Chaff.—Prime oaten sheaf still continues in good demand, but medium quality is difficult to sell. We quote: Prime £4 5s to £4 10s, medium £3 to £3 10s, inferior £2 to £2 15s (bags extra).

LONDON WOOL SALES. The N.Z.L. and M.A. Co. are in receipt of the following cable from their London office: —" Wool: The sales progress firmly. Since the opening of the last sales, there has been an average advance of about 12J per cent, on last sales' closing rates medium and inferior greasy merino and greasy medium crossbred, and about 7J per cent, on slip and crossbred." BUBNSIDE STOCK MARKET. Fat Cattle—2l3 yarded. Best bullocks £9 5s to £lO 12s Gd—very prime £l2, medium £8 2s 6d to £9, others £7 10s to £B, best cows £7 5s to £7 12s 6d, others £4 10s to £6. Sheep—lß43 penned. Best wethers 15s to 17s 6d, others 13s Gd to 14s 9d, best ewes 12s to 14s 6d, medium 10s to lis Gd, others 7s to 8s 6d. Lambs (best) 12s to 13s 3d, medium 9s 9d to lis 3d, others 6s Gd to Bs. Pigs—2o4 penned. Suckers 2s 6d to 7s, slips 9s to 12s, stores 14s to 17s 6d, porkers 24s to 325, baconei'3 39s to 495, heavy pigs, 60s.
