IN KANSAS.
The Slate of Kansas has for long rears been nominally a prohibition State, and the law has been enforced perhaps as well as such drastic laws can be. A bronzed and stalwart cowboy planted a '"two-gallon demijohn " on the counter of a chemist's shop. " Fill her np," he said, " babv'a sick."
