THE DIRTY IRISH.
In Belfast, not long ago, two Yiaitors, riding on a tram towards Malone-roud, vr re overheard conversing about their holidays by an old Delph vendor, who evidently belonged to the neighbourhood of Smithfield. One visitor was loud in her praise of the lele of Man, and said ahe enjoyed Douglas weie it not for some dirty Irish who go there occasionally. She with the China ware could stand this kind of conversation no longer, and rising to leave the Irani, delivered herself in this fashion:—" And so jck couldn't enjoy Douglas bckase of the dirty liish; yez should go not year for your holidays to H ! There's no dirty Irish there,"
