BURNSIDE STOCK MARKET. Weunksday, February 20. Fat Cattle—l 93 head yarded, a, large proportion only middling quality. The fact'of. there being no sale next week and the yarding being moderate caused prices to advance slightly, Best bullocks brought £8 103 to £lO, gbod £7 10s to £8 ss, light £5 10s to £6 ss, best cows and heifers £6 10s to £B. good £5 10s to.£6 ss, light and inferior £3 15s to £4 10s.,
Fat Sheep—l7ss penned, a large proportion being ewes of good quality. The demand was good, resulting in a clearance at a slight advance on last week's prices. Best wetberß 18s to 193 6d, good 17s to 18s, light 15s 3d to 16s, best ewes 16s to 18s —one exceptionally prime heavy pen 21s 3d, good 15s to 16s, others 13s to 14s 6d. Freezer lambs 12s to 14s—one pen extra 15s, others from 10s to lis 6d.
Pigs—2B2 penned. There was fair sale for all but suckers and slips. Suckers 4s to Bs, slips 10s to 15s, stores 18s to 21s, p rie s 25s to 325, baconers 36s to 465, heavy up to 565.
