Locality of the Race, and of its Starting and Terminal Points.—Charlton Creek; starting on the said Creek immediately below the point where the South-Eastern corner of Section 453, Hokonui District, touches the said Creek, and running thence through Allotments 7 and 8, on Plan 83, part Section 4a, Waimumu Hundred, and terminating at the Charlton Creek near the North-Pastern corner of said Allotment 8, so as to place the water of such race back to the natural channel of the Charlton Creek, after user by the Applicant as hereinafter mentioned. NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. -TOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS TO Ij_ GORE, available for return until 26th January, will (except where ordinary fare is less) be issued from Kingston, Mandeville, and intermediate stations; from Clinton, Invercaigill, and intermediate stations and from stations on Tapanui Branch on 23rd and 24th January. DAY EXCURSION TICKETS between Gore and Gore Racecourse will be issued on 23rd and 24th January, available for return on day of issue only. Fare : Is, Single (either way) or Return, Second Class. Tickets other than the above Day Excursion Tickets will not be available between Gore and Gore Racecourse. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. 23rd and 24th JANUARY. The train arriving at Gore from Clinton at 4.30 p.m. will not leave Gore until 7.15 p.m., Racecourse 7.25 p.m., Mataura 7.45 p.m., Edendalc 8.15 p.m., Woodlands 8.55 p.m., Invercargill arrive 9.30 p.m. The train usually leaving Gore for Lumsden at 3.45 p.m. will not leave Gore until 6.45 p.m., Lumsden arrive 8.45 p.m. The train usually leavirig Lumsden for ingston at ti.25 p.m. will not leave Lumsuen till 8.55 p.m. and will arrive Kingston 10.45 p.m. Trains will leave Gore for Gore Racecourse at 12 (noon) and 1 p.m.; and a train will leave Racecourse for Gore 15 minutes after latt race, but not later than (5.30 p.m. All trains will, if required, stop at Gore Racecourse for passengers. 24th JANUARY. A train, stopping, if required, at all stations, will leave Waipahi at 8.50 p.m. (connecting with train from Invercargill) and will arrive Hcriot at 10.5 p.m. On 23rd January the GOODS SHED at Gore will be CLOSED from Noon. NOTE. PasseDgers to Racecourse by trains from Noith will require to obtain " Special Racecourse Tickets " from Gore to Gore Racecourse. For full particulars see handbills. BY ORDER. OT.
